Read this piece from the Guardian of the UK. I think it is representative of much of the European Left (and the American Left for that matter). The only difference is that most of the American Left is not advocating Bush's assassination (yet).

A 25 year veteran of the broadcasting industry I have worked as a radio talk show host, radio reporter, TV reporter, disc jockey, radio program director, radio news director, radio producer and more. I have covered numerous elections, interviewed two Presidents (Bill Clinton and George W. Bush) and numerous presidential wannabes.
