We are a nation of 300 million, still growing, still the largest, most productive economy on Earth. We have a Navy larger than all the others combined. Our Air Force can hit targets nearly anywhere in the world. We still have the best universities, win the most Nobel Prizes and, most importantly, we remain the destination of choice for so many people all the world over, many of whom will risk life and limb to get here. We remain the greatest nation on the planet that combines enormous wealth, significant freedom and nearly absolute security.
